ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT
Original Catalog
The ABC breast form product line is very extensive with over 30 styles to choose from. Retailers were calling in asking the differences between them in thickness, shape, fit, and the list goes on. The information was in the catalog, but the formatting of the catalog didn’t encourage the user to read and comprehend the information.

The product description layout in the old catalog layout was approaching the concept of product comparison with the size, color, profile, and weight section. But, most retailers already knew those components from memory. So, the bulk of information that they needed was buried in the text.
APPROACH
PLANNING AND DESIGN
Confer with sales, marketing, customer service, and design departments to discuss key product components.
Incorporate graphics to better demonstrate and emphasize specific product features while minimizing redundant information.
